Art, Music and Dance

SNV, students receive training in both Indian and Western classical music, including vocal and instrumental instruction, as well as Indian classical and semi-classical dance.

NCC

The young wing of the Indian Armed Forces is open to school and college students on a voluntary basis. In our school we are offering this service to our students since we aim to groom disciplined and patriotic citizens of our nation by recreated cadets.

NSS

The NSS encourages voluntary community service among students and aims to develop the personality through social work. Through this organization we are enriching and enhancing our students to serve the poor and needy with the motto of service is the best way of worship.

Scouts & Guides

Our school’s mission of Scouts and Guides is to educate young people through a value system rooted in the Scout Promise and Law. This aims to build a better world where individuals are self-fulfilled and play a constructive role in society.

Band

Established in 1998, our school band is entering its 21st year with the support and enthusiasm of our students. The harmonious melodies created by our diverse ensemble of skilled musicians, showcasing a repertoire that spans classical to contemporary genres.

Road Safety Patrol

Road safety is an important topic for engaging children and young people, as it impacts everyone who uses roads. With increasing independence at secondary school, young drivers and passengers face significant risks, making road safety education is vital for their health and social activity.
Our SNV students receive guidelines and ideas for lessons and activities that can be incorporated into assemblies or citizenship lessons, as well as subjects like Maths, Science, Drama, and English, by road safety for ages 5 to 18.

Club Activities

Our school offers a range of sports activities to enhance physical and mental health to empowering the students with essential life skills. Through sports, students learn discipline, time management, leadership, and self-confidence.
Our well maintained playground supports sports facilities for volleyball, football (boys/girls), kho kho, throwball, tennikoit, table tennis, hockey, beach volleyball, carrom, chess, boxing, wrestling, ball badminton, handball, taekwondo, kabaddi, silambam, and athletics (track and field events), as well as karate.

Uyir - Kutty Cops Orientation Programme

Our school ‘Kutty Cops’ program targets the children in grades 3 to 8, aiming to instill the importance of road safety awareness in young minds. Spread over a 12-hour period during the academic year, Uyir will provide an orientation for teachers, along with an implementation plan and materials, including worksheets to use in the program.

Thalir

Thalir is designed to support children’s growth in physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social aspects, promoting holistic development. Our school focuses on enhancing students’ social intelligence and providing opportunities for them to become social leaders by nurturing these essential skills.

Sports

IIMUN - (International Movement to United Nations)

Our school students are making remarkable strides towards the National Level Wrestling Championship. Recently, we secured four gold medals, two silver medals, and four bronze medals at the State Level Wrestling Championship.
In the District Level Wrestling Competition for the under-15 category, 23 of our students participated and achieved 7 gold, 4 silver, and 12 bronze medals. Master Pranesh P. of Class V-C was honored as the “Best Bowler” by the Edu Sports Cricket Club. Additionally, 16 students under 15 years old participated in the Tamil Nadu State Wrestling Championship, winning 2 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals. Master Harshad S. of Class VI-B earned 1st place in the “First Asian Yoga Championship 2019-20.”
